Late maha sri Athimoolam chettiar of Tirunelveli Town,vagaiyadi mukku and this is called at now as VOC street had three lovely sons and four wonderful daughters.

They are:-

Mr.Ramiah chettiar born on 1914 and expired on 1984.
Mr.Muniappan chettiar born on 1915 and expired on 1971.
Mr.Chidambaram chettiar born on 1920 and missing since 1955.

Miss.Avudaiammal @ Sornam born on 1921 and expired on1994.
Miss.Parvathy@ Eswari born on 1922 and expired on 1995.
Miss.Chellammal born on 1923 and expired on 1996.
Miss ponnukutty born on 1924 and only legend and the only varisu of late Maha sri Athimoolam chettiar exist in this world to say all the family history existing/ living and blessings all his direct family members.
And also the direct members of late Mahasri Athimoolam chettiar childrens were marrried in time as per his will and wishes. First of all Mr.Ramiah chettiar the eldest son of late Maha Sri Athimolam chettiar married a spinster gal of yester years from Tirunelveli-Town Miss.Velammal d/oMr.Sankaralingam chettiar.And his second son Mr.Muniappan chettiar married Miss Subbammal d/o Mr.Siva kolunthu chettiar,and his third son Chidambaram chettiar married Miss manickathammal d/o Sankaralingam chettiar of kasukadai(Gold jewellery shop owner)of Tirunelveli-town.

And His daughters were also married with other legends of Tirunelveli saiva chettiar society as, Miss Sornam married to Mr Narayanan chettiar land lord of Ambasamudram, and Miss Parvathi married Mr.Subbiah chettiar of Kovilpatti,Miss .Chellamal married to Mr.Arunachalam chettiar land lord of Nellkattum seval and his youngest daughter Miss Ponnukutty married Mr.KSN.Gomathi nayagam chettiar,Land lord of Tirunelveli town.

A Narrow street of old post office street was well decorated,nicely cleaned,thousnads of artificial lightings decrates the street.The youngsters of the street makes a small clubs or associations and collects from the well of the house of the streets and honourably and decently spend with lot of imaginations and decorations.the old generations to interested with inducing Baya bakthi among their wards and they too decorated with lightings and blessings Lord Om Namo sivaya on their street entrance..It shows the 100 % participations of the peoples of Tachanallur on 05 & 06 Feb 2007 on the Annual Grand Thirumall poojai every year.The pooja might have no history behind but how ever few centuries since this Thirumall Poojai started since the Construction Lord Nellai Appar Temple at Tiruneveli.Town,As all the Carpenters and the Accountants were also allotted this small Town beyond Tirunelveli town for their settlement near River Thambirabarani by their chola and Pandya kings while constructing the temples.Since then this Thirumall Poojas been conducted inspite of British Raj as wel as after thye Independanceeeee toooo.Goddess Ulagamman may bless one and all who has witnessed her Chariot processions are who has reads this blogs for ever.Hudossssssss!!

Thirumaal poojai paal kudam processions started at 0800 hrs at Varam tharum perumal koil in tTachanallur by hundreds of devotees both boys,gals with their vows of milk kudams on their head carried on their processions and completes at 1200 hrs they are crossing the easter bank of Arugan kulam canal of Tachanallur toiwards Goddess Ulagamman temple on 05 Feb 07.Processions carries few elephants,Chendai Melam from Kerala,National Band from Madurai,ANd the Nadhaswaram from Nelai along with their grannys,grandpas with all their dears and nears going on with hot sun on their heads with lot of Baya Bakthi and completes their vows to Goddess Ulagamman and also prays fpr the world peace and tranquility.Hudossssssss!!!
