This picture has been taken at the residence of late Mahasri Athimoolam chettiar on 29 Jan 07 on the auspicious function of Maha kumbabisekam been performed after around 80 long years at 155 VOC street ,Tirunelveli town.The assemblers are almost all the great grand childrens,grand childrens,and his lovely and only alive daughteSmt G Ponnukutty ammal of Tachanallur and also Late Athimoolam Chettiars third daughter -in -law Mrs Manickathammal .These direct relations and dear and nears are still united wholy and integrated and with out any partitions of his belongings still.It shows and proves how these families were maintains their unity and integrity of the family values eventhough the great Late Maha sri Athimoolam chettiar expired around 60 long years.His constructed the temple infront of his own house and named as Athimoola Chidamabara Vinayagar temple seen the Maha kumbha bisekam on 29 Jan 07 at VOC Street,Tirunelveli town.Hudosssssss Athimoolam chettiar’s family members and his loving daughter and her families,and daughter-in -law and all his friends familiessssss
long live Chettiar’s family with lot of good healths and wealths for ever.

Lord Azhahiya koothar was well decorated and seated his newly made car of four stepped vimanams and five stepped base with new coir ropes and Pushes from the back with THADI or called leverage to push the LOrd’s car to run around or ride around his temple once in a ayear and been pulled by all cast,community,religions and political big wiz’s, and like to be a member of assemblies, and also the current Tirunelveli.MLA M.MAALASI RAJA MA MLA also puled the car along with thousands of devotees with like a war cries during the real war of devotees.at 14:30 hrs was a wonderful scenery at this place pf remote village ios called Chepparai near Raja valli puram of Tirunelveli district.

Long queues at the entrances of the annadhanam place at Lord Azhahiya koothar temple at Chepparai.Many thousands might have enjoyed their foods or services rendered by the organizers,How ever when we seated for annadhanam or lunch the plantain leafs were served first and after many minutes rice been servedddddd.After few minutesss one wionderful AVIAL been served and atlast after many minutes a sambar been served.The serving volunteers of youngsters were not organized well for the public servce.No such organiser to supervises them hence everything was on habazard manner and some how we could eat Azhahiya koothar prasadam as a whole and came out after little satisfactions from ANNADHANA hall.Oh my dear organizers pls look after the devotees who came to ur pandals for food or prasadams.Please serve them better .HOnour their feelings of oneness and also serves them with pot ful of drinking waters and see their faces glow and shall bless u for ever. Hudosss to the organisers of Anna dhanammmmmmm.

The lord Azhahiya Koothar was tired after very long standing poojas/and dancing and blessings of his devotees and he was kept at rest at main Mandapam for poojas and punaskarams and singing lot of devotional songs on him by the devotees of all ages,cast and communities at chepparai at his Thamira sabai on 24 Jan 07 at 11:30 hrs and every devotees were blessed for their long lives,good halth and wealth and advance bookings for even heavenly abodes.The idol of Lord natrajar was carried by devotees at their shoulders and they were also dancing with their lords and singing and dancing was a wonderful scenery 2 be witnessed and enjoyed by one and all.Hudossssss of his wonderful dances at Chepparaiiiiiiiiiiiiii

The two tier Over bridge adjacent to saalai kumaran temple was over flown with thousands of devotees to witness the maha kumbhabisekam.They were standing from early morning at 0600 hrs to 09:30 hrs the time of Maha Kumbhabisekam to have a glance of view to get heavenly abode.How ever some sort of arrangements must have been made by the local authorities and the police in particular.how ever those policemen at bridge to safeguard the vehicles to pass through the crowded devotees which gave lot of embracements to the devotees as a whole.Thanx lot to the blessings of and by lord Murugan as nothing is extara ordinarily took place on his Maha kumbhabisekam day.Lord Muruga bless us and bless every one who has witnessed ur Maha kumbhabisekam and those who are seeing this blogs readers too.God bless one and all for ever!!!

WHILE DEVOTEES AWAITS HOURS TOGETHER for the ceremony of kumbhabisekam at the Palayam Saalai kumaran murugan temple at Tirunelveli junction on 24 Jan 07 every one awaits for the arrivals of VVIPs of local officers and MLA’s and few.Due to their little late arrivals even the lord Murugan also gets little annoy over his time of accepting the Abisekam by the prohithars of the temple for last many days.So every one at the temple tops,road side pavements,and the Two tier over bridge were over flows with thousand sof devotees as every one says chorously as Muruganukku aroharaaaa valli muruganukku arohara,vetrivel muruganukku ariharaaaaa etc where shouted on their high pitches even the lord Murugan might have come so closes to their humble voice of devotees by raisinh both hands surrenders to his feet to get heavnly abodeeeeeee at last VVIP’s came everything went on as scheduled.LOng live devotees… and long live Baktha sanmarkkams,log live the humanity of this worldddd hudos!!!!!!!

maha kumbhabisekam of lord Murugan ’s temple at Tirunelveli junction salai kumaran temple on 24 Jan 07 at 09:30 hrs.Thousands witnesses and got blessed

The happy pongal prepareations started early as december 2006 itself.Full house have been colored .white washed,washes on whole compound wall and dusting ,cleaning,brushing,paintings and floor washing.These took around 15 days times with four workers and it costs around 4500 rupees.How ever after completion of the said tasks we felt proud to looks at our house from far and nearer for its shines, and reflections and neat and cleanliness.
How ever the days of new year 2007 also came with all joy and ferverous.Every day shoppings on necessary,and daily and useful items been brought from markets.TV,’s and radios gave lot of attractions and freebies for purchasing of anything from pins to pillows,TV’s and fridgses,washing machines and micro wave ovens with freebie as a gold coins.And few companies are supplies to ur homes with out much financial benefits for both.Many gifts and antiques were presented along with every purchases  so much attarctives to us.Many things were brought for many other reasons.
How ever 15 Jan also arrived.On 14 nights all ladies in our vilage houses never slept becaz of existing and left out finishing touches on their timely hand works on Maa kolam,manjal kolam,poo kolam,colored kolam,paint kolam,and also manjal kavi kolam and writes on our walls as Wish u Very Happy pongal etc  and it took around early mornings at 04;30 Am.By this times the corporation water also arrived with lot  of pomp and shows with lot of air more than the original Tambira bharani river water at our home water taps.The water have been filled up in our homes Undas and kundas ,buckets and mud pots.By this time it was 05:00 hrs on the happy pongal date.

all family members were woke up and refilled with tea and or coffee and their daily works started.Ladies after their manjal kulippu or bath they started arranges the Aduppu katti or called Mud stoves of five or seven in  a pattern for three piots pongal or five pots pongal etc.
The house kutthu vizhakku have been enlightened,all vegetables and fruits were laid at the feet of the Kutthu Vizhakku and pongal paanai’s have been lightened by gents.The panais or pongal pots were of Bronze and that have been given or brought from their moms house as compulsary seethanams to their young and lovely daughters of our traditions.The only occassions these bronze pots were well decorated with Viboothy,Live manjal have been tied on it necks and manjal kunkumam were aplied and the pot have been kept on the burners.
Fierst Milk is poured,then the coconut water ,then as rice washed water  have been poured enough up to the neck of the pots.Now gents,kids of their homes prays to their almighty and put fires on the burners, with leaves of palms brought out for this occassions specially.
After few minutes the neck level water boils and springles out all sides of the pots with kulavai a holy sounds created by elders and kids and the new raw rice have been poured by making three times around the fire as they offers to the SUN lord.
In the next burners the making of Payasam is in progress,and in the third burner VEN PONGAL is in process.With in 20-25 minutes all the prasadams and pongals were ready and these were offers to the SUN lord who blesses the humanity and mankind have been offered and poojas  were performed and then five spots of prasdams were offered to our  forefathers then offers to the birds like KAKA or called crows because our forefathers will come to our homes as crows to bless and watch our improvements and for further blessings.So every one will shouts with joy as PONGALO PONGALLLLLLL
